Just a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! Everyone that works here is always so welcoming, it’s like going to visit family. The events are always top notch and what else can be said about those donuts other than, wow! We cannot ever leave without picking some up. Highly encourage every one to go at least one, whether it be spring, summer, fall, or winter!

Richland? Who knew. A short drive from Kalamazoo and we were at Gull Meadow Farms to see the annual Richland Art Fair. I would recommend the venue. Extremely well organized. Well laid out, plenty of parking, meticulously maintained grounds and just the right number of booths. Excellent affordable food trucks. The fair itself was less of an art fair than a craft fair. (With a few notable exceptions like the Kalamazoo ARTisans.) I'll check out other events at this venue, if only because I simply have to try the Pumpkin Cannon.

One of our family’s favorite places to go. We love the sunflower fields in august, pumpkin patch in October, and Christmas lights!

Awesome trip out to Gull Meadow Farms again this year. Our kids enjoyed every second of the visit and every second that Santa took with them. If you have not had the experience of seeing Santa at the Farm don't miss your opportunity. Not only is he great with the kids but he takes his time to make each kids visit special! Well done again this year Santa and the Gull Meadow's Staff!!

They are doing u pick pumpkins this year. You don't have to call ahead, we went Tuesday afternoon and were able to get ours.
Hi Ava - Yes, wagon riders are $1/person to ride around the farm. It will take you to the apple orchard. If you choose to not take the wagon ride to the orchard, our staff will direct you to the path to take to the orchard if you'd like to walk.
They have a tractor with a big wagon on the back that takes you around the farm. And they have smaller versions for kids to ride on their own. They also have a middle sized one that goes through part of the apple orchard.
Yes, they sell hot dogs, chips, fries, pop, and burgers
The farm is closed on Labor Day. We will be open September 4/5 that weekend for activities. Be sure to follow our FB page for the most up to date information on what is happening at the farm. The hours listed on google are for market hours only, not activity hours
The Richland Art Fair (hosted by the Richland Area Community Volunteers) is being held at the farm this year, Saturday, July 17th at the farm.
Based on our visit last weekend nearly everything is available. The tractor ride was the only thing of note as not operating. Usually it takes you to the different areas, so I would plan on more walking than usual.
Thanks for the question Marsha - information about this years event will be posted to our Facebook page beginning of this week (July 20th 2020)
it's not free it's $4 a person but totally worth it
It is $4 per person, our 1 year old was free.
It varies depending on the day. There can be no wait and then at times we've had a 2 hour wait. You are welcome to call the farm 2696294214 and see if they have an updated wait time before you arrive. I would suggest coming 15 mintues before Santa is schedule to be in the big chair in order to have less wait time.
HI Shaun - Our market is open daily at 9am. We have limited activites open during our Fall Seasonfrom 10-4pm for $4/person. All of our activities are open from 4-7pm on Monday-Thursday for $9/person and 4-8pm on Fridays for $12/person. Upick pumpkins are available during activity hours or you can choose from our pumpkin corral located near the market. Please message us on Facebook or call the farm with any other questions as we don't always see questions here on google. Thank you!
Our Upick apple season is current done for the year (2019)
We do not at this time. Our Sunflower Festival ended on August 18th
Hi Lori - There is no charge to park or to come shop in the market. During activity hours we have a weeknight (Monday - Thursday 4-7pm) admission price of $9/person and Fridays (4-8pm), Saturdays and Sundays (beginning at 10am) it's $12/person. This includes both family activity areas, wagon rides around the farm, and our 6 acre corn maze. Additional costs would be apple cannon shots, upick apples or pumpkins, and any market purchases or concession items (if open during your visit). For a complete list of hours please check our website www.gullmeadowfarms.com or our Facebook page. Here is a list of our pricing as well:https://www.gullmeadowfarms.com/visit/pricing
Hi Lawrence - it's quite a long process that begins early in the year (like January) to come up with our design. We plan in June-ish (if the weather allows). It involves lots of time and a map-type system of us marking out each corner of the design and then going through and rototilling the maze multiple times throughout the growth of the corn.
They posted on Facebook that only guide dogs are allowed.
No - I updated that in the off season when we are closed because google wont allow me to choose "closed" because we are seasonal and aren't closed permanently.
I am not sure if they're open all year or not I'm sorry so late for this answer
The market will be open through the day before Thanksgiving (2018). We will then have a mini-market set up inside one of our greenhouses during our Santa hours. More will be posted on our website as well as Facebook.
Unfortunately we do not allow dogs due to insurance and liability reasons. We appreciate you asking first. Service dogs are welcome.
--There is no charge to park and come shop in the market. We have a wagon ride only wristband option if you just wanted to go pick pumpkins for $1/person, plus the cost of. your pumpkin.
