Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Melrose Nashville, TN

We arrived at 12:30 on a Friday and the line stretched across the parking lot. It was a 40 minute wait, but a nice waitress was taking drink orders and running them back and forth to patrons. The atmosphere is very casual and the service is great. The chicken sandwich was above average, but not amazing enough to constitute the hype. We got the medium sandwich and an order of hot tenders. The fries were excellent 👌. If you want to feel the kick, go with the hot, the medium wasn't enough. We also added a touch of salt which helped with the balancing of all the pepper spices.

First trip to Nashville and first time to Hattie B’s. We had been hearing from locals that if you don’t eat spicy 🌶 🐓 while in town you haven’t truly experienced the local culture. So we took the time to check out this Melrose location on our last night. My son and I both ordered chicken sandwiches and ordered a side of macaroni and cheese and fries. The side dressing of ranch was my preferred side. We also ordered a root beer float. The food was good and luckily it wasn’t as packed as some of the videos and reviews portray it to be. Wasn’t blown away, but it was good enough for 4 star. I may have given them 5 stars but the staff was slow to clean the table after the party before us left and that become our job.

Took a trip to Nashville and stayed just a few blocks from the Melrose location. Hattie B's was our first meal in Nashville and I can't say enough about how great the experience was. The food was fantastic...best hot chicken sandwich I've had to date. Customer service was equally as good. Wait times weren't bad compared to the S. Broadway location. We ended up eating here 3 or 4 times during our stay. I highly recommend giving Hattie B's a try...especially this location. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Nashville!

I really liked the naked hot chicken. It was a great gluten free treat/ surprise. I got 1 hot and 3 medium. The "hot" one didn't seem much hotter, next time I'm going to kick it up a notch Staff were super nice and took extra care in pointing out my wife's banana pudding wasn't gluten free. It's a super smart idea to place your order online and skip that line.
