After cancelling our reservation at Gold Ledge Campground. Due to no trees and extremely rocky area. We were excited to find a couple of tent sites available 42 & 44. ❤️❤️❤️ We loved it! Shaded, clear access to river. Not overcrowded. Hosts were very welcoming, accommodating, informative and cheerful. We were informed of a non-aggressive bear who took up a tree as it's home near site 42. No bear issues for the whole week. It was an amazing stay. Definitely recommend and definitely will return. Clean restroom and showers!! Thank you KRS Staff!!!

The owner didn't tell about the 80% occupancy surcharge so you can imagine my surprise when I got the bill. Also, these folks mean business when they say they don't offer refunds. I got sick with covid and instead of showing up to get others sick, I choose to stay home. They refused to even let me change the booking to a later date. General public, be wary of this place and their business practices. They were able to keep my money but they lost a customer (and others) for life.

We have been here about 4 times - we always rent a cabin - started out paying $175 a night We booked again but this time it was $242 per night PLUS an additional $145.20 that showed as a previous balance When I asked the girl at the front desk upon checkout in she said it was sent from the wrong screen and was quoted in the price as “high demand time” of the year It costed us $871.20 for 3 NIGHTS! That’s $290.40 per night! ALL of the cabins were not full and I am not sure IF we will ever be back - we could have found an Airbnb since 2 couples spent $1742.20 between 2 cabins! I always liked staying there BUT with these rates - NOPE!

The owner needs to update their website. They advertise for $59.-/night. We even called ahead and the price change wasn’t mentioned. Once we arrived it was $85.-/night right next to the office w no nice view. We were too tired from driving to go somewhere else. I find that very expensive. Especially when there are no special amenities on the campground. Wifi signal was low. The river is nice but we couldn’t even see it from our spot.

Definitely. They even have a dog run with grass and plenty of room to run.
Hi Tania! We have 3 sites designated as "Tent Only" those sites do not have electricity. However you may put a tent on any of our sites - all other sites have electricity
You might check Jake's Place but stables are few and far between these days
No they have cabins and trailers you can rent. You can also bring your own trailer or do tent camping.
There are a couple of designated tents sites not next to the river as well.
Not on site but in town I think there is one.
Not permanent residence but they do offer storage of trailers and rvs
We went during june and most of the campers were coming up empty, except for 1 teenager who caught almost 15 within 2 days lol. I dunno if it was luck or not but the river was up significantly more than normal which could be the reason for no fish. Too fast of a current.
I think some people do. There is a town just down the street from the camp sites.
The laundry is done down the street by the market
You get one WiFi pass per camp site, and it can only be used on 1 device. You can purchase 7 days for about $20 if I remember correctly. Without the WiFi it was a dead zone. I had to get one because I had some work to do unfortunately, but you are on vacation in the nature, no phones allowed, except to snap some cool pics and play music. Have fun!
Yes. They have a few travel trailers they rent out.
They can accommodate the trailer but not sure about price. I know they don't let people live there year round. They may rent spaces for people to park and use as a vacation spot.
The spaces are like most RV Camps. 6-8 weeks then out for 1 week so you take your chances. The Californian RV Park in Acton, Ca has permanent monthly rentals.
