A good place to work if you don’t mind living in a truck and being away from home a month at a time.

Today I have been denied a job opportunity simply because claiming I was unemployed for a long time . I Have been unfairly discriminated against due to unemployment!!! Against the law in US

It’s a horrible place to work. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. If you don’t have a CDL….I’d have someone else train you. They lie about your pay. They have drive wise in the trucks and their point system is bad. If you improperly change lanes that’s 250 points against you. I worked there for a year and that was enough.

They will provide all of the necessary training and tests to acquire your CDL. The reimbursement for costs of it is deducted from your paycheck through the first year of employment I believe although I am currently a Swift company driver and I would suggest verifying this information with someone from recruiting.
Its tight and carful coming out thanks to drivers knowing how to follow yard speed all the time
Yes they do. I love running the Target account.
Swift is a good company if your a good driver and hard worker
Just a terminal. If you have employment questions or questions about schooling or financing for it just contact recruiting. I'm on a Swift Dedicated account so in not really sure of the current requirements for signing on.
My adopted house mate / daughter drives for Swift & the Company treats her like Gold !!! They watch over Her like a hawk !!! In keeping her Safe & Healthy !! The Company makes sure that She has a Safe place to park @ night ,& when She needs time off, They give it to Her !!! The Company is very selective in the hiring process of driver's But Only the Best Driver's work there !!! She won't go anywhere else to drive !!! 🐕🐈🐦🐇🐾☕🌹🚛
It's just a terminal the school was in Memphis i believe
They do normally but its under Construction/remodeling so not at the moment
Yes and No . There is what use to be a terminal there . Swift drivers and trailers are park there . But it's not a functioning terminal . Hope this was helpful.
School is good, my class had a pass rate of 57%, but 2 dropped out and 1 had another issue that prevented him from going further. I did it in 4 weeks and am out here on my own and doing good, still have a lot to learn, but a lot of this is hands on.
There is always minimal criteria for employment, no matter what company. But it's best to call, or talk to a recruiter
Coffee machine is out of order And last month it took my money but didn't drop a cup so you can guess what happened.
No
Can't give anymore information wasn't hired
Swift offers cdl training at their academy. They don't charge anything upfront but you will pay out of your paycheck as you go. There are also a lot of independent companies that offer cdl training... Personally I went that route. Ive heard mixed reviews for Swift Academy (cdl training) but that's true of everything. Once you have a cdl Swift will pair you with a mentor for about w month of on the job training (200 hours of drive time) before you get your own truck.
thanks for yoour answers, does it have a kitchen?
