I would not recommend Window World. Of course they will send you very nice person who looks professional and knowledgeable about the windows. Then you wait for a couple of months and get installation date. Problem is with the installation which is the most important step. Non of them could speak English. They had to use Google translate to communicate with my wife. Supervisor was busy in other job site, only reachable through text. One of them installed bathroom window to the kitchen. There are multiple areas of imperfections. One window was broken during installation which needed to be replaced. And they left numerous nicks onto the existing window frame. And there was no one available for final inspection which was clearly described in the job. One guy just asked to sign a paperwork. Window seems fine, but there’s no customer satisfaction. I would not recommend their business.

Louis Farmer was my sales rep with Window World and he did a fantastic job explaining the process from start to finish. Spent extra time with me showing me the demo window and the benefits of an EnergyStar rated window. That was what we chose and the windows are absolutely beautiful.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this business nor use it again. They seem disorganized and unresponsive. They don't show up and do not even call. Install the wrong product, come to replace it only because I had not paid the full balance. the replacement is done in a hurry and not well finished, many places left uncaulked, and the the wrapping around the frames is warping already after 6 weeks or so. Try to get them to come back to correct after it is paid? I have tried and tried, but have not been successful. I will have to hire someone privately to correct some things. Their prices are good, but I am afraid their execution leaves much room for improvement. There seems to be no supervisor/ coordinating force, and so the ship drifts in the ocean. Not the ship one wants to be on.

Window World of New Orleans | Oct 4, 2019

We, unfortunately, do no replace glass, we'd need to replace the entire window unit. In some cases, this can actually be more cost-effective and will definitely have the most impact on your home's energy efficiency.

How much does it cost to reglaze one window world window? How long does it take to get it done?

Steve Gares | Oct 4, 2018
Anne-Marie Fontenot | Oct 4, 2018

Window World windows are under warranty if you purchased the window or confirmed the transfer of the warranty from the original purchaser. You shouldn't have to reglaze if that's the case. If you're looking to reglaze a window yourself, it takes time and skill. The glazing has to be painted as soon as it's set to avoid mold growth, though it does take quite a while for it to set. If it rains, there's a good chance your work will be negatively affected. There are some informative articles online to learn how to do it. I've worked on it before, and it's not an easy task for beginners.
