IT'S NOW SEPTEMBER 2022 and no sign of New Visions Communication in my area of Moravia. No one seems to know if and when Internet service here will ever materialize. Starlink may be an option for those of us who need to be connected, though it won't be available until 2023. That might be sooner than New Visions. ANOTHER UPDATE: The office now says they will start working in this area maybe end of July or early August, but no one seems to know for sure. It looks like no chance of any service until sometime in the fall if then. UPDATE: The company has still done absolutely nothing to get service in the town of Moravia. See their reply about waiting until the ground is unfrozen. I urge everyone to contact their representatives and ask that the contract for Cayuga County be given to another company that is willing to do the work. The reply to my message about no service in Moravia said to call to schedule an appointment. However, this information is wrong. New Visions is not installing at my address in Moravia, which is on Owasco Lake, and no one at the company knows when that will be done. We've been promised service for over 3 years and it sill has not materialized, even though I have a useless green post across from my house that is supposed to contain the fiber optic.

Without question the worst internet service I have ever used. If my apartment complex didn’t force me to use them, I wouldn’t. Internet goes out for an hour+ at least once every two weeks. If it goes out on the weekend or after 5, good luck getting in contact with anybody. Despite living in a nice apartment complex, new visions alone has had me seriously consider moving elsewhere. Update: it’a funny that New Visions only reports one call from me in the last year when I’ve called over a half dozen times and I never get a call back. Leave name and number and nobody calls back. Weird for a company to call their customer a liar. Ive assumed my name and number just get lost in a void. My assumptions must be right if they only report one call. I’ve never had issues with interference with other internet companies. It’s clear they don’t know what they’re doing. I pay for 100 mbps and get 8 mbps in the evenings. I top out at 30 on my Xbox despite being directly connected via Ethernet. This is a greedy company that holds a monopoly on a building because they know they wouldn’t exist otherwise.

My building uses New Visions. Every employee I've spoken to has been very friendly and helpful. Trevor at customer service today was able to resolve my issue very quickly.

Moved to a new place recently, and had some trouble getting internet. I spent an entire day going back and forth between the building management and the router company, trying to figure out what was going on and why I wasn't getting any connection at all. Finally, I reached out to their chat line via Google and I was connected with David, who was extremely helpful! He was very patient and thorough and tried everything in order to help me get my Internet up and running. Happy to report that I'm writing this review with my functional Internet. Amazing customer service all throughout, and I'm incredibly grateful to David and the team over at New Visions who were able to help me solve this issue. Thank you!!

Not sure what you're referring to FasT TV, but services are now available to most of Moravia. Charles Schenck, if you're still looking for services, please call our main office and we'll get you scheduled!

WiFi network names are the same for both 2.4 and 5g. If your device has a 5g radio it should connect automatically.
