Staff was extremely helpful. I got my new library card along with information on the library services and building layout. I need to print a form, that was on the third floor as staff directed me and it was easy to log on to print. I forgot change or cash, used to using my debit card. I felt frustrated and thought I'd have to log back in to resend it after going for change but staff again, excellent, let me know it would stay in the queue for 48 hours. I could go home, grab the change I needed and come back. It was easy, and my printing was in the queue as she said it would be. Clean, well organized with clear signage to help you find your way around. Lovely architecture. I'm looking forward to exploring the books and library events & programs.

Hi Curt, The Library gratefully accepts the donation of books and audiovisual materials. These items must be clean and in good condition. Please limit your donations to no more than two boxes at a time. Donated items may be placed on the cart that is usually at the bottom of the stairwell on Floor 1 (entering from parking lot). Each item will be evaluated for its suitability for the collection. We cannot accept textbooks, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, or VHS tapes. No conditions may be imposed relating to any material after its acceptance by the Library. Items not added to the library collections may be turned over to the Friends of the Lockport Public Library for sale.

Hi John, The library will be open limited hours beginning July 6 -- see www.lockportlibrary.org. We do not yet have a date for when books will be transferred from other NIOGA libraries.
