Beutiful are for skiing, highly reccomend the night skiing, if you know where to go on certain times of days the lines aren't bad at all!

First day of 2021-2022 season! The opening day is on a Tuesday and is for pass holders only. Because it’s a weekday, the lines are short. Four lifts are open today. There is food and beverage service outside. The fire pits are going. The staff is super friendly. Parking is well organized. Family friendly and a there is a magic carpet for the kids. The snow is fast on the opening day. Well-groomed runs and plenty of powder. Highly recommend this resort.

I personally love this resort for what it is. Is it a massive mountain with mind blowing trails? No. Is it a nice resort in a beautiful area a stones throw from Seattle where you can get there quickly in the morning and have a fun day of skiing, have a drink, and enjoy a great winter day in the mountains? Yes! If that’s the day you’re looking for then this is a great place to go. The parking is a little crowded and annoying like most resorts but I personally have never had an issue finding a spot relatively quickly (I get there in the mornings around 8 or 9). The night skiing is fun too and the resort clears out a ton. Would recommend for a quick and easy day of skiing!

Excellent place for beginners, intermediates, and everybody who doesn't want to drive more than 2 hr to hit the snow (me!). The prices are reasonable, I learned to ski there (by myself), going of Thursday, you can get an evening ticket for $40 (I will go after work and ski from 5pm to 8pm).

No date yet. Drove over the pass last weekend and only about 6" of snow so far.
You can't beat nature. Just be smart
As soon as there's adequate snow on the runs. Varies every year, depending on the snow accumulation, so check their website, constantly updated. These are permanent questions and answers and the opening day of 2018 is probably months earlier, and a annual event, than opening day 2051 after global climate change has been ignored and denied for another thirty years! Opening day used to be an annual event, usually occurring in November, sometimes as late as mid Dec, back in the 20th century, and into the early 21st century, and not the once a decade event of the 22nd century.
The Washington State Patrolers make the decisions about when to require vehicles to put on chains to drive up and over Snoqualmie pass on the i90. They tend to be over zealous usually and require chains even when the road is only just "slushy" and still only bare concrete. I guess they are thinking "better safe than sorry" because so many drivers don't really know how to drive in snow. It is a Washington State Law that all vehicles are required to carry chains for their vehicle while driving over any pass in Washington State from November 1st through April 1st. It is not all that common we get continued and sustained snowfall over Snoqualmie Pass. However, in early January they closed the i90 for an unprecedented 4 straight days. This situation may have been because snow plow drivers were fired because of "mandate issues" and may have been "short staffed" as a result. Once they got "behind" on clearing the roads, it was a disaster. Most commonly the roads are bare. 4×4 R exempt usual
No, they are closed for the season. But there is probably still plenty of snow left for those that earn their turns.
no pets are allowed but people do leave dogs in their cars whilst skiing
😗Yes, several places, pay lockers inside the ridges, ski check, or you can store them in any of the common areas and rental shops.
I had issues on my Hood River property, so I posted Many signs and provided my own clear to understand maps, and I kept putting maps out for a few years. I also on my days off, made time to intercept people and give them my map, talk about my access and their access, and then, walk them back to where they crossed into my land, and I also ask how they were thinking this was the trail thru and that is how I determined a map left along my line in several spots works, now 3 yrs later I have maybe, two (2) crossings a season, but usually by large groups..I also put up game cams, and record these crossings for my Dept of Natural Resource Manager who's asked to help me resolve future issues due to the access they provide. Good luck and hope you try my remedies!
I believe the child and senior day lift tickets are around $20-30. Not certain if it is.
No exact date, just when they get enough snow. Their website will be your best source of information.
West Summit Snoqualmie Resort is open. Saturday-Sunday, it opens at 9 am...Monday it open from 12 am- 9am, closed tuesday. Wednesday,Thursday,Friday it opens 4 PM-10 pm. Google for directions, website, and more!
"The Summit at Snoqualmie offers Protector and Defender lift ticket discounts to active duty, reservists, civilian employees, Peace Corps and their families when you order online." https://summitatsnoqualmie.com/deals/protector-defender-deals
Yes it is. If there is snow, it is open. Check website for details
It depends on the day. Weekdays are cheaper than weekends. As cheap as $27. If you buy online in advance it's the least expensive. Go to www.summitatsnoqualmie.com and check it out.
There's a pretty good amount of snow, especially if you take the lift to the top runs
Yes
Of course! Report that he lost it, in the lot, so they can watch for fraudulent use and check the picture on the pass of any skiers that aren't pass holding, familiar faces by now.
Silver fur is open now for night skiing, until 9:00p. Was there last Friday.
Yes
If you're smart you will. Weather can change very rapidly up there.
Maybe I would call them
Check their web site for updates or call them. Usually dependent on snow fall quantity
Yes. $10 per night
No, unfortunately the operation company Ski Lifts Inc is as cheep as a company can be. There is cellular service at Snoqualmie Pass, my cellulae provider is Sprint, and I have service, AT&T, & Verizon both have service, and several businesses have WiFi, Red Mountain Coffee has WiFi, and so does DruBrew, as well as the Summit Inn, but you'd need a guest login... There are cell towers up in the old run down Thunderbird Lodge atbthe top of the WildSide Chair Lift at Summit West!
My son wants to practice with smaller practice snowboards. Can be so it there? Is there a fee?
It runs 3pm to10pm Tuesday - Friday. 9am to 3pm Saturday 9am to 4pm Sunday. It's a good old lift still running strong.
I haven't rented in several years, but last time I checked it was around $25 for the basic package. The price goes up with higher quality packages.
