Good location. Check in took forever and there was only 2 of us trying to check in. No air conditioner in our room. It was in the 90’s and the sun was blasting our windows till 8:00 pm. Had to steal a fan from the hallway. Saw other rooms with portable air conditioning. Ask for one at front desk and older lady acted like she didn’t know what we where talking about. Found out people actually live in this hotel and not just guest. Assuming the live ins got preferential treatment over those of us in town to spend money. So sad!!!

Positive: The hotel was fully booked and the room my two young daughters and were given a room on the first floor with a windows that wouldn¿t lock. Luckily, there was one emergency room available, so we were moved. It was a nicer room. Negative: The first room¿s microwave was badly damaged, probably from the TV falling on it, since it was loosely mounted on wall. We stayed here unexpectedly after getting stuck on the pass for 5 hours. The people were so, so warm and kind. The hotel is old, which is ok. The decor is outdated (who cares). The rooms were sufficient but a bit cold…it never seemed to get fully warm and the blankets are thin. But the food was good, the staff was amazing, and it was a reasonable place to spend the night with my kids after a miserable trip up the mountain!

Hot tub was cool, no phone in room, night assistant asleep at front desk and no resolve for our issues after requests. Beds not comfy, room old and musty. Coffee maker did not work! Overall we were not happy with our stay. If your looking for a convenience place to sleep near the slopes I would suggest camping instead of the summit inn and hitting up the pancake house, because the breakfast was pretty good! Our visit at the inn was to enjoy the amenities, but unfortunately there was not much to enjoy.
