Many issues, stated we wanted a 3 year rabies and they gave him 1 year and then said oops. And then charged extra 40.00 for registering our pup with Winnebago county because he wasnt neutered. They stated they would refund that because he was getting neutered in less than 2 weeks there. Then stated neutering was 250.00. Took our pup to get neutered and they refused to take 40.00 off the bill like they promised. And told then no extra tests that are not necessary and rhey pushed they had to be done to which I argued it wasnt. They then said I could pick him up and take him somewhere else but he was already there. After he was done they charged 350.00 for the neuturing which was 100.00 higher and also another 40.00 because of the fees they were going to refund us. They staff is UNPROFESSIONAL and very RUDE!!!! Horrible experience there and all about taking your money and not at all easy to work with at all. Never going there again!!! Horrible place and will go back to a great place, Bellwood Animal Hospital!!!!

Had an appointment for a yearly check up of my dog and they explained to my wife the cost would be $160 for the visit. At the appointment they keep asking non stop for other testing and I would say no. While my dog was in with the vet they called me again and asked for another test. I asked if it was for the blood work so my dog can continue his seizure medicine and they said it was. I said it was fine because my wife already called about it when the apt was setup. Turns out it was testing for something else and I was lied to and an additional charge of $198 was added to my bill. Somehow I walk out paying $380 for this appointment which was suppose to be $168. My wife called back about it and the staff was rude to her over the phone and said it was my fault because I said it was ok. We are no longer using this vet after 15 years of going and cancelled the other appointments for our other dogs.

Dr. Sill is wonderful. She is always willing to listen and talk through any concerns. I know my pets are in great hands with her.

I have never been so disappointed with such service. We recently adopted a dog, we gave them the information we were provided to continue his care and make sure he is okay. They asked for more information, I explained this was all we were given. They demanded a birthday on the dog, again I explained he was a rescue. I told them I would request this from the rescue. They never addressed any of our questions pertaining to the dog. The staff seemed bipolar, one second they were nice the next they were rude. We will be finding somewhere else to go.

Questions & Answers

Why can't we meet face to face with our vet? I work all day at a store with a mask on. People shop with a mask on. I go to my Dr with a mask n. Think I should be able to interact with my vet with masks on!

It's about having the staff to clean after every client and we are a small clinic and we simply can't.
