We visited Valley Vet back in June to get Health Certificates done for our 2 dogs' transport to Hawaii. The team was extremely friendly and caring. We are very satisfied with the service and care we received and are happy that both of our dogs made it safe to their new home.

Vet should retire. she’s old and ridiculously rude, doesn’t assess the animals fully nor does she listen to the owners concerns. In it for a paycheck and nothing more as far as i can see. I have friends who’s animals have also passed away from stress after being handled by people here. Go elsewhere if you want your animals to have the best care, because its not here.

They're the only big animal vet around our area. The big animal side of the clinic never returns your phone calls and to get an appointment is impossible. You might as well just consider your animals going to die.In the years I've been living here and keep trying hoping it would change and no still the same. The community helps more with advice and help.

Excellent service from the vet assistant to the Ver. They took the time to get my pets weight, temp, ear issues, dental check, shot records, dry dog food options, healthy treats, and a treatment plan. Better service and treatment plan than our last vet clinic. Thanks

If you are not a client have no idea how long that takes. Call them service is slower than it should be. Takes over a month to get appointment. Been with them for years. Disappointed

I think its nice when your baby's sick but their to full to see him finding another vet this one sucks

Valley Veterinary Clinic (Owner) | Apr 7, 2021

Hi Jody, I'm sorry to hear that your animal is sick. Unfortunately, while we try to accommodate as many sick animals as possible in a day, there is no way to see everyone. We wish you well finding a clinic who can meet your needs sooner.

Dog that ate 200mg ibuprofen has no stomach issues, eating fine, drinking water, very active, and pink gums so far...how long should I keep a watch for signs of possible toxic issues?

FaerieGranma | Apr 7, 2019
Cassie Galbraith | Apr 8, 2019

I would highly recommend calling the clinic directly. I think this section is more for questions about what services they provide not for veterinary advice. Please call them.

My 8lb dog may have consumed half of an 400mg. prescription ibuprofen. She seems okay so far, should I bring her in to be seen on Monday?

FaerieGranma | Apr 7, 2019
Valley Veterinary Clinic (Owner) | Apr 8, 2019

If she for sure only ate roughly 200mg, she may develop some gastrointestinal signs like vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach ulcerations. We would want to start some decontamination and get her on some gi Medication to protect her stomach lining. Call us if signs arise or you think she consumed more than that before Monday if needed.
