Tried all of the 3 CC dog parks in Rockford. This one is my favorite!!! Plenty of room to run, water, pools! Love that they have water bowls available.

I've just moved to Rockford need a place for my pups to blow off steam. How bad is the mud here. Muddy paws is cool I just don't want them looking like piggys when we're done.

Boone county has a big dog park. It even has a pool in the summer and a warming house with a wood burning stove. However they all have a fee.

Does anyone know if the park is fenced in so the dogs can’t just run off?

Yes it is. There are two sections that are fenced.

Does this park have some smaller fenced in areas? I am working on recall and socialization and want to make it safe for everyone. If not, any park in the rockford/marengo area that do?

Is this dog park completely fenced in? What does it cost to use this dog park? Are there any other dog parks in the area that are completely fenced & if so do you know what they cost to use?

The Hammertime park on State Street and the Rockford Canine Corners on Lyford require a fee tag to use the facilities. Both are fenced in and the 2019 early renewal i think for Canine was $45 for residents. I go early and its not busy.
