Amazing area for the money. Great location For motorcycle riding. The rooms are a bit small. They have good ac units that can freeze you out. Tub didn't drain well. Beds were comfy. Internet service was almost non-existent. This was a good and bad thing. I was able to park my 16-ft trailer along with my truck. The food here was God awful. Be warned! Gift shop has some well designed nick knacks. Overall great experience!

Wow, what can I say... the atmosphere is like none other. If you own a motorcycle, no matter the year make or model, Deals Gap AKA The Tail of the Dragon is a must place to visit. Riding the Dragon goes without saying. Can Not give a high enough praise. Totally exceeded my expectations.

A great spot to grab a bite to eat before heading out onto the race track that is the tail of the dragon. Make sure you try one of their burgers before shopping in their store. There is another store across the way, with a slightly different selection and about the same prices.

Didn't stay , are friends there. But neat place , especially if ur a biker. Right there at tail of the dragon. But please be extra cautious! Bikers seems to hog the road, not all. But every year many lose control an lose their lives. It's that bad of a curvy road.

We have three charcoal grills that are placed next to the fire pit in front of the motel rooms.
Brett, let me suggest another option. Consider staying in Robbinsville or better yet the Tapoco Lodge. A historic and charming place. That will allow you to still travel the famous "Tail of the Dragon" also called Deals Gap. I was down in that area last weekend and was disappointed that the Fontana Dam Village Lodge was closed with no reopening date In site. The Tapoco was open and is really a better experience. I encourage you to give the area a try.
Yes, tent camping is available. No reservations required or taken. It’s first come first served. Power outlets are available and are also first come first served. We have shower houses, a large fire pit and three charcoal grills. A bike and a tent is $20 for two people, vehicle camping is $40 for two people if room is available.
Yes we camped out for three days had so much fun there people are awesome , customer service is excellent

I was in room 9 two Years in a row , bed squeaks ,lol but medium and the bunk beds were about the same, no couch in that room though.
