We had the best time on our trip from Carson City to Virginia City and back. We learned a ton about the history of the area and the Conductor was lighthearted and super funny!

I participated in the 11am railbike tour with some of my friends and we all had an amazing time. It was a beautiful and the employees helping with the tour were helpful and funny. I'd come back and do the tour again!

My two beautiful girls! They both are working on the Polar Express train. They are absolutely amazing!! They love to make all the kids smile they even take pride on the tearful and grouchy ones. They also sing, laugh, dance and make the adults have a cheerful time. Love them dearly and I am so proud to be their mother!!!!😇🥰 The whole cast was amazing as well. The whole experience was heart filling and happy. GREAT Christmas spirit. Carla really did a fantastic job putting this all together and making it happen!❤💯👍

Hi Cathy, yes the tours are wheelchair accessible, however, passengers must be able to transfer to a seat and the wheelchair ne eds to fold up so that it can be safely stowed. The doors and aisles are 24" wide.

The V&T does not have a route that goes to Reno. All routes are between Carson City and Virginia City. Daily trips for the 2018 season are now closed and you can look for a new schedule in May 2018. At this time there are holiday themed trips with a differing price. CC to VC roundtrip tickets were $52 for adults $48 for seniors and veterans and $32 for children 3-13. Our 2018 season ends Oct. 14th. Polar Express runs from November 16- December 24. The 2019 season will begin in the spring.
