I have been going to Community Acupuncture every summer for about 10 years. Whether it is routine maintenance or a specific ailment I always get relief. The sliding scale pay allows me to go twice a week for the summer.

Diane is the closest thing to a healing angel I've encountered so far. Two months later and nothing has happened to change my mind.

I have a chronic and complex condition. Over the years I have tried countless treatments and have found acupuncture to be one of the most helpful. I have seen several acupuncturists, while all somewhat helpful, Diana's treatments have been the most effective. With frequent treatments (1-2 x a week), I maintain a higher baseline; about 40-50% without and 50-65% with treatment. Diana is an experienced, caring and skilled practitioner. Armed with just a small tray and needles she helps many. The community setting makes all the difference, the sliding fee structure ($30-$60) makes frequent treatment feasible.

Hi Bill, Thanks for contacting us. I treat a lot of peripheral neuropathy. I would say maybe half of the folks I treat have moderate to large improvement, the other half, not so much. Worth a shot, in my opinion, but like most chronic problems, acupuncture twice a week for at least 4-5 weeks, then evaluate, would be my recommendation. Diana Di Gioia, Lic Acupuncturist

Do you accept health insurance?

Hi Maria, Our goal is to have our rates low enough that people can afford acupuncture whether they're insurance will cover it or not. We have a sliding scale of $20-$40, and you decide what you can afford in that range ($10 extra for first visit). We don't take insurance directly, but we can give you receipts, with the necessary codes, for you to submit to your insurance.
