This place was right up my alley! I had the calamari, fried green tomatoes, chicken, and a salad. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite. They were fried perfectly and had a tangy slaw on top. The sauce that came with the calamari was sweet and tangy too. My Cafe Salad was fresh and nicely garnished. My partner had the Greek Herb Chicken and ate the whole thing. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was great! Multiple servers checked on us while we were there so we were never without anything we needed. The patio was really enjoyable and they had the fire going. It is a little pricey but worth treating yourself!

I can not remember any meal I've enjoyed more than this. I had the special, a mushroom ravioli, and a Bailey's brownie. I finished my pasta with a clean plate - it was light, incredibly full of flavor, and the perfect serving size. The Bailey's brownie was absolutely magical. The layers of interesting texture and decadence played music on my palate. Hands down, this is the best restaurant experience I've ever had. I was able to thank the staff and owner in person as they were equally as attentive to the patrons as they were to the ingredients. I don't write reviews often, so take heed and enjoy at the Cafe on the Corner.

The calamari was perfectly cooked; tender and delicious! The blackened filet special was cooked to the exact temp we requested, and everything was delicious! This is a wonderful place to dine!

What a nice little Cafe to find on a quiet section of Lookout Mountain. The place has a rather peaceful feel. My first impression was that of a staff that is on their job, but in a very unobtrusive way. There is no hovering wait staff urging you along. They let you enjoy your food, but are always nearby, if anything is needed. The food was very fresh with a real comfort quality. Tasty beers are on tap that are well worth exploring. My blackened chicken sandwich had just the right blend of seasoning, so that you weren't overwhelmed with spice. The garnishments added a nice mix of freshness. My wife loved the turkey sandwich and the kids cheeseburger was gone in no time. I would say we will return on our next journey up the mountain. It is always great to find a serendipitous culinary gem.

It's a little out of the way place, but good food, and very friendly staff.
