Residence Inn by Marriott Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place

My stay was okay a little pricey even with my friends and family discount I paid over $200 dollars Rm and tax 100 dollar pet fee and $18 in parking and I couldn't print my form because they didn't have any ink at the computers in the business center and somehow my email wasn't going through so I did have to run across the street to the courtyard to print it out. It was a older building but updated to Marriott standards beautiful floor to ceiling windows, bathrooms were a little smaller than other residents inn properties but the room was very clean and spacious. I did check out the pool area out a little small but nice it's in the heart of downtown within walking distance to the riverfront with a lot of restaurants and I do believe there was a Dollar general or something like that within a couple blocks but we ended up finding a food City on the outskirts of downtown. Breakfast was a little skimpy needed to be filled the breakfast lady was behind the desk chatting so I only got to get one item to eat but it was a bomb little quiche front desk girl that checked me and was very nice and helpful addressed me by name so very professional. Only big complaint I had was the $18 paid parking but what can you do. Other than that our stay was short we got some well needed rest without being disturbed and hit the road the next day.

This hotel is OK. It has all the amenities that you can expect from Residence Inn, however the rooms need maintenance and better housekeeping - In our upgraded suite, the decors were broken, the interior door slightly damaged and the bedside clocks had wrong time. (See attached photos) - None of these individually is a big issue, but when viewed as a whole, points to a lack of maintenance. We had extended family staying in another room. When they arrived, their room had a very bad musty odor and it took some back and forth discussion with the staff to finally give them another room - Initially the hotel claiming that all rooms were sold out and then magically rooms becoming available when they realized that we were going to cancel reservation and leave. All this with a Platinum elite member.

Love this hotel! Will always choose a Residence when traveling. Stayed in one in Orlando and booked one for next travel in TN. Quiet, sound proof, well insulated, really clean. Nice hotel. Great staff. Love the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with plates, utensils, etc! Washer and dryer avail that takes cc! Made traveling so much easier and more comfortable. The beds are so comfortable - what are they?? Would love to buy one for home.

We stopped in Chattanooga, on our way to Nashville, for the day and also experienced Ruby Falls! We were greeted by Allison, and got checked in promptly! Our studio room was nice big and clean and efficient! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you Allison for your recommendation, of taco Mac for dinner!We highly recommend anyone to go there also! Just a short six minute walk!Also, we enjoyed a very nice Continental breakfast, with lots of great choices! Also enjoyed the fireplace and great TV in the dining area! We would surely recommend this place, and hope to come back again!
