The rental community is conveniently located near Busch Gardens, USF, and the wonderful Riverhills park. Currently, it's one of the few affordable rental apartments in the area. Over the past three years, community management of Meridian Apartments has used the incremental rent increases to effect improvements throughout the property. Dated stairwells were reinforced to make it safe & secure, unused fireplaces were blocked off and celings repaired where needed, security cameras placed in different areas like the pool, exercise room and the garbage dumpsters, and even installed brand new laundry room equipment! Additionally, the amenities, such as the gym, were made available a little bit later in the day than what used to be. However, I shake my head in disgust when during Memorial Day weekend, both pools available to residents are extremely dirty and not fit to swim in. I pay "close" to market-rate rent and expect excellence where I reside. It appears the rental community management hits the mark on certain things, such as, responding quickly to maintenance request, pest control, and beautification of the floral grounds. Yet amenities that are expected to be enjoyed are either in disrepair like the exercise room weights or sadly ignored as the aforementioned swimming pools. Hopefully, the management at Meridian Apartments will not let these type of slip-ups continue. Residents have the right to be able to enjoy where they live at, not dread it. Update 6/3/21@ 1:38 PM: Thank you Mary for clarifying the situation with the pool and the steps being taken to resolve the situation!

This is BY FAR thee best apartment complex in this area. First of all, the staff are top notch. Mary is amazing and very fair. (Don’t let other reviews sway you. I’m telling you, people throw tantrums when they don’t get their way. Mary is great!) Melissa and Jessica (I think?) are super friendly. Terry and Miguel (the maintenance guys) are so professional and get to everything in a timely manner. So, aside from awesome staff, this place is SAFE, and that’s a tall order for this area. Mary doesn’t allow crime here and our safety is her top concern. Come live here.

I felt apprehensive about moving into these apartments, as I am from out of town. It can be stressful looking for apartments via online, searching through reviews for warning signs, good, honest, and fair reviews. I must say that I was PLEASANTLY surprised. I flew into town to view the apartment and Melisa was extremely helpful. I moved here June, 2018. I LOVE my apartment! I have THEE best view of the sunset. It’s clean, the neighborhood is VERY quiet , and feels safe. We are a gated community. There is ample parking, great pool, clean laundry rooms... MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT MY PLACE IS THE SCREENED-IN PORCH. That is a plus for me.My apartment is small YET comfortable, as it is just myself.ONE bedroom $700 budget. Maintenance ,pest control and the office staff have been wonderful for my first 3 months here at Meridian. I am brand new to Florida, having a peaceful home means everything to me. I’m HAPPY. Keep up the good work and thank you .
