I woke up early in the am feeling very dizzy and I started to fall; so I tried to break my fall and bounced around and landed on my left hand. Later that afternoon, I decided to have my hand & dizziness checked out. I walked into FastMed. The person at the counter was as helpful as possible. My name was called about 30-40 min later to be seen by the attending physician. Everyone was courteous, down to earth, and helpful. I appreciated the fact they had a tablet to enter my info because the injured hand is my writing hand. End result was low blood pressure and a broken hand. The attending physician send a referral for me to be seen by a specialist. I was quickly in and out👍

How long is a reasonable amount of time for a referral to a specialist? Why do I have to be seen twice before getting said referral? Why was I not given any answers as to what is causing my discomfort? When I call to ask why my referral hasn't been sent, why do you not answer the phone? It cannot be because you are too busy. I have sat in the waiting room on two separate occasions now, and those working at the front desk spend a lot of time checking their personal phones and discussing the latest streaming show they are watching.

No triage, crushed and severely burned hand. 45 min wait to be told X-ray machine is broke and need to go to emergency room.

1st time the front desk person was very pleasant. My Appt. Was at 11:15 and I was out of there by 11:55. Norman PA he was very nice. I would definitely use them again. Although they couldn’t help me I was referred to the ER. It was a good experience. If you plan on going there I would call 1st to see if they are taking walk-ins.
