We were looking for a place to get off the highway and stretch our legs while on a cross country trip. We found this little gem. It was very nice. It has primitive campsites in small clearings with picknic tables and fire rings. Lots of small ponds and good gravel roads. There was lots of room between the sites we explored so you wouldn't feel like you were right on top of your neighbors. We have marked it on our map for a future stay!

No electricity. Primitive camping only. Good fishing. Way too many people that just drive through going way to fast.

Great place, we fish regularly with all of our small children. Park is closed due to flooding recently and no entry is permitted. We are sad but hopeful that the park can be cleaned up and back to a safe and family friendly place!

This is a nice recreation area not far from I-80. The beach, water and grounds are kept nice and clean. I stopped in here for a BBQ picnic pit stop and left after a swim at the beach. I'll be back to camp and fish.

I think you just need a park permit to use the lakes i dont think you need permission as swimming is allowed.
