Been here a couple times and it's pretty fun. Until you enter animal world. Hyenas, wolves, and many other animals are crammed into tiny spaces. Not to mention the one lone wolf who runs around his barn suffering in the Texas heat. Most of these animals are completely out of habitat. The monkeys are confined in horrid, muddy kennels. The lions had about a 20x20 space with a rectangular stone to sit on. As a snake owner, I noticed that the reptiles were also In rock bottom living conditions as they lay motionless in their foliage. Very overall depressing place. I wouldn't recommend bringing your kids or a date here unless you want to make them sob. Pretty unfortunate to see a polar animal like a wolf confined to a pen in San Antonio. Only 2 stars because the alligator feeding show was cool.

Lots of close interaction with animals

A little expensive for the price of a zoo, but a fantastic experience. Snakes from all over the world that probably would not see anywhere else, or if you did, see, you'd be in grave danger. The outdoor petting zoo is great for kids and the animals that they have out there are phenomenal, the staff is very helpful and very informed on the animals. It's an enriching and exciting experience to see some of the feedings/ shows.

Nice place to stop if you're in the area. Lots of cool animals. Chickens and some peacocks walk around, plus they sell food to feed them. Also a petty zoo with tons of goats and a cow. Careful going in with food to feed them. They know you got food and will crowd around you waiting for it. Overall great place to stop at and see some cool animals.

You can bring food into the zoo.
you are able to attend on your own.
I'm posting a screenshot of the cost on my post . Just look at my pic
You need to call them directly not post a question to the public.
There are no ups and downs, the path is even and flat and wide. Wheelchairs are no problem. Go and ENJOY the scenary for yourself. Make sure to take your mask and GO ENJOY LIFE..😅 GOD BLESS YOU 🙏.
Was there a week ago and only employees were required to wear masks. They also have hand sanitizing stations around the complex.
Depends on the stroller. The outside path is like dirt and gravel. Also the indoor part is pretty narrow.
12 Dollars we were all adults so I didn't notice how much for kids it was worth the price can't wait to bring my grandkids in July they will love it.
Always a good time to go. There will be a bunch of people because it's spring break. But you will still love it!
If they have one out to learn about them, then yes.
They are open everyday. 10-6 from Labor day to memorial day and 10-7 from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Tue website does not kention closures on holidays.

Do they have a sloth at the petting zoo? My Granddaughter is a sloth crazy 14 year old.
I would call animal control first and get their advice.

Letty Gomez is correct. 3-12 is $12.99 over that age and it's adult pricing. If you have alot of kids you can call and get the group discount info as well as schedule a private tour.
$15 adult and $12 for child, may be wrong. I do believe its on their website though
No you can just walk right in, call and check what time they do there crocodile show because that's when it tends to get a little crowded.
You can purchase at the entrance. Be sure to bring a mask.
Sounds more like a review than a question.
This place is very educational
Adults $12.75, children from 3 to 12 $9.75 and children under 2 years are free
Depends on if you have kids with you. We took our 3 year old and it took about an hour and a half maybe just a little more than that. If its just adults and you dont want to pet anything then its much faster. The difference between thisand the san Antonio zoo is that you are much closer to the animals here. Also they had a little show going that we didnt stand and watch as our 3 year old doesnt have the patience to sit and listen. If you do go when they have a show with the animals you can learn more about the animals and also see them get fed. This could also make your experience there last longer
From time to time they offer on Groupon. I got a package 4 for $25
No Elephants but they do have a Bison and Camel which are awesome as well!
If heading from San Antonio take exit 183 towards Solms Rd. Turn left on Solms Rd. You will then turn left unto I-35 frontage road. You will find the Zoo straight ahead.
$12.75 for adults and $9.75 for kids 3-12

The Snake Farm is the place to go. Great selection of very healthy snakes as well as many other animals. Staff is friendly, helpful and very well-informed. You can see that the animals are happy and very well cared for. We just love going there.
If they don't Zookeeper in Austin might
They can definitely be used any day but tickets along with feed bags can be purchased at the entrance.
You know that's a good question I'm not sure if they buy snakes but I know they have about 12 rattlesnakes in a 18,, 20-foot deep, foot deep ditch
They feed the alligators Sundays during the summer (from Memorial Day to Labor Day) at 3pm.
Price for military id and senior is $11.75.
No the concept is almost like a zoo but more unique in the fact that all the animals are cared for and nurtured until release if capable
Please don't let him go outside. For certain that is illegal. Just take him to any humane society. They will fin another home for him.
