I miss this place after moving away. Haven't found a vet as good as this one where I live now, I even try to come here on my visits back when needed. Great group of people who love animals and are very good with them. Thanks to everyone there, from Hobie and myself! Update: decided to move back to Raleigh, and I feel so fortunate to have such a great vet to take my buddy too! He's been having so many problems with his ears and skin, and nobody has been able to get him better (been to 3 different places since moving away, and none come close to this place!), so I'm just very happy that now I'm able to get the amazing people here to help us out! Everybody who works here is so great and helpful and really have done so much to help us, and I'm just so thankful for this place and everybody here! I wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else if I could avoid it, this is by far the best Vet I've ever been too! Thank yall so much for all of yalls help with my buddy Hobie!!

I’ve never been here myself, personally. My boyfriend’s bearded dragon was seen there very recently and was diagnosed with pinworms. It took them a week and a half to even get back to him about results. Next, he was told he would be able to pick up so deworming medication. He’s waited 2 1/2 weeks to hear back about the medication until he decided to call today. The lady who answered the phone told him he had to come in for another check up for his bearded dragon.. even after there was already a check-up and he was fine other than the pinworms. Keep in mind, nobody stated before hand a second checkup was needed. THEN.. she proceeded to tell him that they don’t have any deworming medication on file for him. It’s already been 3weeks and still nobody has contacted him about medication and the lady said that she would get back to him when she could. Communication is very inconsistent on their end. Why should patients have to keep calling to get an answer? This is your guy’s job. Please do better.

I had an axolotl that I took to this place and I would choose this place over and over again for all my animals. Dr. Susie Masecar was very professional and made both myself and my axolotl feel very safe and comforted. She would explain everything that she did and made sure to do nothing without my approval. I would highly recommend for exotic care.

Dr. Swan and her fabulous team are hands down the best veterinarian team around! They have cared for my veiled chameleon since he was a little guy and continue to do so in the best manner possible! Everyone is so genuine and caring and goes over and beyond for Aiko when we bring him in. I recommend this amazing team to anyone who has an exotic pet needing great care. I would give 5000000 stars if I could!

Hey Danni, Our exam fees range from $51 to $59 and we take a $40 non-refundable deposit to schedule a new patient exam, that goes towards your exam fee when you come for the appointment.
A standard wing trim for a small bird is $29.40, however we do require a physical exam on any new patient before we can perform a wing trim. This helps to ensure that your bird is healthy before any procedures. A new patient exam is $51.75. Please give our office a call with any other questions you may have.

Hello Oriana! Middle Creek Veterinary Hospital does treat birds in addition to other small animals and exotic species!
Dr. Lanier specialized in reptiles during vet school. She assisted me with a rescue box turtle and I am almost certain that they would accomodate your dragon. She did such a great job with my turtle, that she know cares for our 2 Springer spaniels. If you call they will provide prompt and thorough answers in boarding your dragon.
