First time here, will absolutely be coming back every year. Staff was kind and helpful, trees and wreaths are of great quality!

Cool place, nice people, but didn’t warn us about the trees that are covered in thorns that you can’t even handle and cause you to break out when you touch. It was rough. Took it right back outside when I got home. Obviously not very toddler friendly. Tried reaching out and kindly explained that no one warned us when we bought it and I even offered to bring the tree back to get a refund but all I got was “I’m sorry that happened to you.” Basically I paid $42 for a big thorn bush and had to go out and buy a tree from Home Depot. So much for saving money. Too bad too..it’s a neat place even though there’s not much selection. I expected more from owner.

The men who were working at the farm were very nice but this is probably the worst tree we have ever gotten. For $125 you would think it would be amazing but it’s been so dry since we brought it home. It’s not even Christmas yet and the damn tree is about to fall apart it’s so dry. Definitely will never be back and we buy a real tree every year.

The original owner of Backacher Christmas Trees passed away several years ago. He was a forester and his trees were his babies. He loved his farm. He loved and respected all of "his" Buyers of "his" trees. His oldest son and his family lived on the farm for many many years helping him plant, groom and lovingly care for the trees. Together Dad and son nurtured and raised very special Christmas trees that spoke volumes of love to each and everyone who took one home with them. Sadly, both of these men are deceased. The new owner swooped in, took over the farm cares for nothing but himself and the money he can make off customers - the rest is reflected in your (or the more current) comments about the trees being sold at the farm. Most trees are imported from growers from other regions and are dry and brittle by the time customers take them home.

They don't sell trees with live roots. They got a new supplier this year, so I don't know where the new place is located. Previous years they have gotten the inventory from a farm in GA. We've been going to them for the past 3 years. I don't think there is anyone in this area that sells/rents out live trees.
Most years yes, either with your own saw, or one provided by the farm. Some years that option is suspended, depending on the availability of mature trees ready for the season.
Yes but last year not many quality trees we. He dies bring in trees to select from. We ordered ours and it was one of the nicest trees we ever had. We ordered a 12' and he ordered it. Our they open this year ?
Have a day to pick out a tree in November for cutting after Thanksgiving?
