Went last week finally; this place is so clean, quiet, and beautiful. The staff person was nice, the yurt to change clothing was also very clean & private. Be forewarned: the drive there is a pitted, bumpy "will I need to replace my shocks?!" ride. But it was worth it. The water temp is perfect, the main pool is now my favorite place to be, & I highly recommend going if you can. You do need proof of vaccination, which has made a lot of locals very upset. However, I am in support of this. Don't make their livelihood political--they own the place and can ask for whatever rules they feel like. Just don't give bad reviews because of that alone. It's the best $10 I've spent all year. Go & enjoy the hot water and calm.

This hot spring gem is hiding in the forest. The establishment is very clean and much easier to access than the nature hot spring spots. Visited on March 2022, with fee $10 per person. Close on Tuesday, other days hour is noon to 8pm. Might …

Friendly staff, loved that they help protect us against COVID. We are fully vaccinated! Water was wonderful. Relaxed atmosphere. It snowed on us and then cleared before we left. So beautiful ❤️

You can't. They checked our proof of vaccination at the hut before you enter the area where the pools are. Maybe just get vaccinated. I did and I'm still alive.
No. They are not an overnight facility, however dressing rooms are provided.
Gold fork hotsprings is closed due to CDC Covid guidelines. Not sure when they will reopen.
We took our kids when they were young too. Under 2 is free! You may want to choose one of the cooler pools with the baby.
12pm - 9pm
They dont. But there are several places located near it that do!
Yes, they will ask to see your vaccination card and a photo ID
We tried to go with our 4 year old and got turned away. I wish they provided more information on the website and explicitly say children under the age of 5 are not allowed (since there are no vaccines available).
No idea, they were strict about proof of vaccination when I was there on 3/9/22, great place regardless and you'll need to pay with cash.
Yes noon to 8pm
Was just there 2 weeks ago, need 2 + weeks after last vaccine shot. They check ID and vacation card.
It was open last week. Make sure to bring your vax card.
Yes they are open Sundays until 8pm. They are closed on Tuesdays
Not certain about holiday closures, but hours are noon to 8 pm, closed Tuesdays. You need to have proof of vaccination for all in your party.
Open noon- 8, closed Tuesdays. Yes, vax card and ID required and they did some nice renovations during early COVID shutdown.
My wife and I went up there last month and they were closed due to covid still but barring that yes they're open year-round
Went 2 weeks ago and were closed still
They are open year round. The fee is ten dollars. They are closed on Tuesdays for cleaning.
Yes
It was closed to the public
No
We have an SUV made there in the middle of the winter in the snow. There were small cars that made it there too so as long as you drive slow, you'll be fine
They are open all week except Tuesday. Says it right on their website
Dogs are not allowed but we brought ours due to travelling. If you've got an electric start or spare key should be just fine. Their is tons of shade also.
They are open Sunday, but recent policies have made it less enjoyable. Last time I went (4th of july weekend) they blocked the flow off for some reason, so the main pool was unbearably hot and the lower pools were disgustingly stagnant. Prices are up, hours have been cut, and they don't allow any alcohol whatsoever, which isn't a deal breaker, but still makes it less appealing
Yes
Best thing is call them in the morning. There number is on there website. (208) 890-8730
To my knowledge it is all natural. If its there it came from the ground.
It is only partially paved. Most of the drive is dirt/gravel and was covered by snow/ice during the winter. Since it has been two months since I was there, I'm not sure. However, during the winter this year it was not bad.
As of recent policy. No food or drinks of any kind
I'm not sure. It was $10 for adults on summer 2018. I did not pay attentioned for the prices for seniors...
Yes. In fact my teenagers went by themselves and everyone there is very friendly and watchful.
No glasses bottles only cans I usually take the whole ice chest. Be safe
Just try calling them at the Gold Fork resort.
No private rooms at this time, but they were building a new hurt for extra rooms, will see what that brings as privacy goes
I disagree with the idea that you need an all wheel drive or 4x4. I have gone there several times with a front wheel drive with snow tires. If you don't have snow tires pick up some cables or chains for your vehicle from a tire store. The road is always plowed, but can be a little slick. I have also seen several cars slid off the road including 4x4 pickups and all wheel drive cars, but they didn't have snow tires or cables.
There is a camping spot right next to the river, further down the road if you keep driving past the hot springs ... it's not an official camp site, so you would only be able to dry camp there ...I hope this helps
I would not suggest leaving you bike at the end of the pawed road since it's a very remote area and there are no designated parking areas at the end of the pawed road ...if you decided to proceed with this trip, hiking from that point would be at least 4miles to the springs if I'm not mistaking...
