I disagree with the idea that you need an all wheel drive or 4x4. I have gone there several times with a front wheel drive with snow tires. If you don't have snow tires pick up some cables or chains for your vehicle from a tire store. The road is always plowed, but can be a little slick. I have also seen several cars slid off the road including 4x4 pickups and all wheel drive cars, but they didn't have snow tires or cables.
Yes. It is a dirt road and it gets a lot of potholes and of course snow and ice. Just drive slowly. I've never had a problem making it in a car.
Yes! There are times in the winter that you will need a 4x4 or something comparable. Trust me I’ve dealt with the road to GF - and have seen cars off the road many times. It is poorly maintained - if at all. If you look up Valley county road maintenance you’ll see it is not maintained at all by the county.
Been staying at Goldfork Hot Springs for a month. Can be a treacherous road but a car with front wheel drive and a good set of tires Will have no problem getting there
If it's front or all wheel drive I would say yes.
