No sauce on burgers, kind of dry. Onion rings a little undercooked but very helpful and kind. Kids chicken strips not very good and no chicken options for adults.

This place serves a solid burger and french fries and cold beer. It’s good not great. Three stars. However, it’s five stars if you compare it to anything else on the highway. The wait staff is especially friendly even if they’re overworked.

I had the Bison Burger was absolutely delicious. The garlic fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked golden brown and crunchy just the way I like them. The atmosphere is great here with its western cowboy feel and a fire burning in the corner. If you are ever in McCall or Donnelly Idaho area this place is a must do.

Cougar Dave's is a local restaurant that specializes in being awesome. Their staff is amazing, so friendly and talkative, and quick with everything. Their food is good too, with prices pretty on par with their portion sizes so it works out pretty well. They have a good sized beer menu which always helps too. Fish and chips are delicious and hot buffalo wings are on point.
