I've been involved for over 15 years and it's a fantastic place to get involved! They offer 6 free CE classes per year, tons of educational webinars and seminars, and have a fantastic community service initiative.

Questions & Answers

What is time limit license can remain inactive before you're required to take class again?

Renee Beidler | Oct 3, 2019

This is determined by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. From their website... Your license can remain on an inactive status indefinitely provided that you continue to pay your license renewal fees when due. If a license was inactive at the time of renewal, the licensee must complete any continuing education that would have been due if the license was active, before the licensee can apply for active status. See Rule 520-1-.05. More info » http://www.grec.state.ga.us/faq/faqstatus.html

I have taken the 60 hour Broker course with The CE Shop, completed it and passed the test. What do I need to send to you in order to get the CE credit, and where do I send?

When a REALTOR® member changes offices or their license status changes, please complete ARA's 'Transfer Request Form' online in order to help us update our membership records. You'll find a list applications and forms by clicking on the 'Resources' tab at www.atlantarealtors.com. Thank you!

How do you file a complaint against a realty group for non payment?

Nancy Slater | Oct 3, 2019
Renee Beidler | Oct 2, 2020

Hi Nancy - I'm not certain if you are a buyer/seller or an agent. We would first suggest that you escalate your issue to the broker of the realty company to resolve. If you are an agent and would like to resolve an issue with another agent/broker, you can find information here: https://atlantarealtors.com/Membership/benefits/arbitration.aspx. If you are a buyer/seller and would like to resolve an issue with an agent/broker, you can find information here: https://atlantarealtors.com/Contact-Us/ethics-complaint.aspx Please let us know if there is any way we can further assist you.
