Moved to HomeCare vet in a pinch when our prior vet suddenly left her former practice. Veterinary Care has been consistent and scheduling hasn’t been a problem. Small local practice.

Dear Dr. Maslanka: Good morning! Two issues: 1. I am not sure that I gave the monthly Interceptor dose to the dogs. Can I give it now, and follw it with the April dose on April 1? 2. Wesley is 4. Do you recommend a teeth cleaning?

Morning Jeff. I would make today the new day you give wesley his monthly. As for his teeth, 4 is generally when we think about doing dentals/x-rays, but if his teeth look and smell good, then just bring it up at his annual. Also remember to pick up a how to brush my dogs teeth handout. Cheers!

Not directly but we are moving in this direction as we gain certifications in palliative and hospice care, physical and rehabilitative medicine, and acupuncture, and are taking courses in food therapy and herbal therapy. Dr. Nancy Sung who is very close to having her certification in acupuncture and is soon to start the food therapy coursework, will be joining our staff in the coming week or two.
