They will charge you $100 damage even if they think you cleaned fish in the room and didnt. Unreasonable when the person before you stay and you get screwed! Take photos before you leave so you can prove you didnt make a mess.

So we got a random charge fee of 100$ after a few days of renting this place. We was surprised to why we got charge because non of us smoke and we kept the room cleaned. Emailed them and they reply back the next day saying we were cleaning fish in the sink and had fish scales all over it. We did not do anything close to cleaning fish. We didn’t even clean our fish until we got home from the trip. All our fish was left in the coolers with ice to keep them fresh and cold. They wouldn’t reply me back after I messages them that it wasn’t us or must been mistaken for another room. They just choose to ignored my messages for about a week now. Really disappointed that they are accusing me for something that we never did. We even double checked and make sure the room was clean before we left. We only showered and sleep there and during the day time we were out fishing. They are desperate for that 100$ let them keep it but we won’t be retuning back there anymore. We never have any problems at any motel before because we always kept it clean. This one is to avoid because they are lying and accusing of something we never did and just charging random fees.

The bed and room were fine, but we were disappointed with the staff. We went for the continental breakfast which consisted of cereal, English muffins, juice, and yogurt. There was no milk for the cereal. The receptionist stated that their delivery wasn't received the day before. The restaurant didn't have any either. The second day we got the same response. Certainly milk could have been purchased at the local grocery store or convenience station. The staff didn't seem to care.

This is a very rustic motel but my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I really should not give 5 stars because the bath was badly stained with water rust marks and it was hard to lock and unlock the door. The free breakfast was not the best but I have to give 5 stars because the staff that works there are absolutely fantastic! They are very understanding and helpful and they made me feel so welcome. It’s hard to find people this friendly in this world. Thank you Boomers for having me to stay! I would definitely come back.
