Kirk, Riggs and Robert arrived promptly for my system install. They were polite, professional and super folks to deal with. They went to work and had me finished up and cooling. Install went smooth and I couldn’t have been happier! Thanks guys! I don’t hesitate to recommend Carolina Climate Control to anyone. I don’t do recommendations often but when I do it’s because someone earned it. They did!

My air conditioner was not working properly, and when I called the office, I received a same day appointment from a very pleasant receptionist. Andrew came to my home on time and quickly went about diagnosing and explaining the problem. In a few short minutes my AC was up and running-- and an uncomfortable weekend of living at 85 degrees was over. The fee was reasonable and the service was professional and courteous. It is so refreshing to know that I now have a trusted name to call if anything else happens.

Questions & Answers

What is the main difference between an air conditioner and a heat pump?

Gail Poster | Jun 4, 2022
Carolina Climate Control | Jun 4, 2022

Hi Gail. Great question! The main difference is a heat pump works all year round. The ac unit ONLY works in the summer months to cool your home, whereas the heat pump will use your outdoor unit to produce heat in the winter, instead of heat strips or gas. The heat pump also works in summer months to cool your home. Consequently, this saves money on your power bill. Does that help? When I turn the hot water on, it comes out dirty - what can cause this?

Gail Poster | Jun 4, 2022
Carolina Climate Control | Jun 4, 2022

Hi Gail. There could be a number of issues with dirty water. Probably the most common cause of discolored hot water is sediment and mineral build-up inside the heater. Sediment is solid material contained in the water that has settled to the bottom of the water heater tank. Fortunately, we have a new plumbing division here at Carolina Climate Control. Please call us today at 843-870-2076!
