I have been to many auctions. Never have I called the day before and been told an item is for sale. Not accepting anything but live bids since they don’t have enough people. Reorganize my life and then spend over half the day driving to auction, waiting 3 hours for a land auction to finish, and finally being told the item wasn’t going to be sold after all. I know things happen but this was completely disrespectful to me and my time. Many ways this could have been done better. Won’t ever attend or use this company’s auctions again

The auction was easy to enter, bids were raised in real time, and the staff was friendly and helpful at pick up time. However, online auctions do not allow you to see and touch the items being purchased. 4/5 of the items I purchased today are things I never would have bid on if I had known their actual quality. Sure, since you asked I will explain again (although I have been in touch through email so I know that someone is aware of the situation). At the end of February I won a couple of items on an online auction. I'm a newbie so I misunderstood …I’m sorry you were disappointed with your service. I'm not a happy customer. I went to pick up my items and they gave my shelf to someone else. That other person knew that it was not theirs, but took my item that I won and had a receipt showing I won the item. Metzger lied telling me that they would try to get my item back from the guy that stole it, but Metzger did not try. I look on the website and Metzger sold it to that person that stole my item. If this is how Metzger auction is ran than I do not want to be apart of it. Metzger acted as though it was ok that the guy took my item, because Metzger did not charge me for it. I do not care. If this auction is in law binding for them if you do not pay, it also should protect the customer. This is bad customer service. There was another person last week that someone took her stuff too. Metzger should be responsible for their mistakes and if the people handling the auction can not do their job and make sure that the customer gets their items, then they do not need to be selling other people's items under being fair and honest auctioneers. My items were under Todd chrisman, and I'm going to make sure everyone knows how I was treated.
