I never write reviews for anywhere, but this time I was so impressed and happy with my experience that I feel the least I can do for them is write a review. I was feeling very sick and just looked up the nearest urgent care and randomly choose a place, and i’m beyond grateful this was the facility. I was treated by Dr. Moody and if I could I would have her be my primary care physician for the rest of my life. Her and the entire nursing staff went above and beyond and made me feel as if I were a sick friend/family member and not a patient or business client. They checked in with me after I left and made me feel welcomed when i returned for my follow up. Since they do not provide primary care services, a staff member even called his spouse for me to get the information of her physician that they thought would be the best fit for me. I am beyond thankful for the entire staff and the care I received. I will always recommend Dr. Moody to anyone for now on.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Nurses were good, front desk was helpful but PA was ridiculous. Was there for over an hour with multiple tests done for her to tell me everything is negative but she’s gonna diagnose me with covid anyway because it looks like it is maybe that. then sends me for teo prescriptions, cough syrup when I have no sign of a cough and a medication I am allergic to (and they all knew this!!) When I called to ask how this happened they it was fixed so there was no problem and acted like I was the problem for being upset.

My experience at this location was great. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. It was easy to register online and complete paperwork to secure my spot on the waiting list. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because my observation of the lack of mask wearing from both the clinic staff and the patients. This is a medical clinic; COVID is still out along with other viruses and the guests in the waiting area were not mandated to wear a mask. I did ask the Nurse Practitioner Amanda Williams why the staff were not wearing masks and she indicated they wear them to see patients but not in the back area where the nurses/doctors are. I think that’s unacceptable. I was referred to this clinic from Tricare (military insurance) and I’m used to the base/VA policy where masks are mandated to protect the staff along with patients. If nowhere else it’s required, I believe all hospitals/clinics should def mandate mask wearing, it only makes sense! When COVID numbers go down, we let our guards down and become laxed, then there becomes this huge influx of sick patients again; the goal should be to prevent the spread, do you part clinic and mandate a mask policy. I will no longer visit this clinic because of that. I would rather make the drive to a VA or military installation in order to be protected and feel safe in a medical environment. But kudos to the process (ease/efficiency) and the kindness of the Medcare Urgent Care Clinic staff, you guys were awesome!

I visited this location for a DOT physical on 5/23, I believe. The 2 ladies at the front desk were extremely polite, professional, and very helpful! Customer service like that seems to be rare, but when it does happen, it makes your visit to an establishment run a whole lot smoother, so it doesn't ruin your day. I would have given 5 stars, but the results for my drug test have not been passed along to my employer, so that is just a bit frustrating.

Yes; there is 97 dollar plan that covers cost of visit and x-rays etc. Publix has some antibiotics and one or two common medicines they give out free, so if that may be helpful call and ask Publix. There are also the free clinics such as the Dream center, depending on where you live
