Was excited walking in but disappointed arriving to our room. A lot of wasted lobby aesthetics that could have gone to updating rooms and hallways a bit better instead. Bed was clean and comfortable. Cool lighting under bed. Lobby staff was nice. Our room could use some hardware maintenance. Shower rod was hanging in by loose screws. Faucet sprayed weird if used full pressure. Window curtains were getting stuck and would only open a certain way. Found a mosquito on couch upon arrival. A couple other beetle like bugs were spotted. Tv worked. Fridge and microwave was in room. Fridge could be cleaned better and maybe put on table instead of floor. Room service replaced towels and took trash out every day though so that was nice. It was a decent place to get rest at.

It seems like this place is a wormhole to both the future and the past with the design and layout choices of the hotel. There are bizarre 90s led blue chandeliers and rods coming from the floor in the lobby. The curtains in the rooms have a valance with Japanese numbers on them for some reason. It's almost as if the hotel builders took scrap pieces from other hotels and combined them together. It was cheap and convenient and the staff were friendly.

It looks really nice on the inside. I didn't see any information on the bar or restaurant hours so I could not try that part of the hotel on this visit. The men at the front desk(that goes for checking in and out) where really laid back and causal. I didn't get the extra towels I asked for in advanced though and, only supplied me with on face towel for two guest. The room was very clean looking and bed was comfortable with firm pillows. Other hotel goers spoke and went about there way..very chill vibe. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I read some where this hotel has a 3.4 rating. This is a disgrace. This hotel easily has the capability of being a 4 star. If you are familiar with a hostel? It's an ideal of what this hotel is similar too in concept.. Just sleep and conduct your business. The restaurant was better than expected and modestly priced for the food order. I had a flank steak, my wife the grilled salmon. Texas; as if they were going to mess up a steak? The grilled salmon, per my wife, was outstanding. I mention this as my wife is native Floridian, when say good seafood, I'll leave it at that. You have the feeling the hotel is on it last leg: shameful. The shower was off the chain. Hot:hot, cold:cold with pressure equal to a message. You have the suspicion the place is under staffed. I would stay again, would not be my first choice nor would I recommend: shameful. Wyndham can do better by this hotel. The staff: all friendly, courteous and helpful. Especially, Rito are server in the restaurant. I would have left 20% tip, as the restaurant charged a 15% service charge. I left it that, I hate service charge.

I believe the entire hotel is smoke free. There is an area out by the pool where you can smoke
Restaurant has typical foods.. Breakfast platter, lunch burgers or dinner steaks w/ Decent portions and prices are typical $ 6 - $20+
I think it could have held 600 comfortably. For real capacity, you'd need to contact Wyndam Garden North Dallas. The area around the bar had a capacity of 770. I saw the occupancy posting.
No free breakfast.
