Sending students double cleaning invoices when they leave! They don’t even deserve one star! Adding to that painting the room when I have not had anything on the wall. Avoid that place by all means!

Don’t waste your time moving in here. Moved in august 2022 & the apartment was completely filthy. My couches are ripped up from previous tenants cats im assuming. Two weeks later I found a tick on the couch. Still no issues have been resolved. Instead they changed the locks to the front door & didn’t notify me at all.The leasing agents are literally trained to lie to you. Alight do better

I have lived here since it was called riverside, but even after the few management switches this place has had, it still remains an unholy scam. Renovations last year took 6 months longer than normal, and left residents with no sleep or parking for a whole semester. Construction workers would be in your apartment at random days of the week without notice, and we had a piece of plastic as a window for a few weeks. As a result of aforementioned renovations, holes were left on walls not only in my unit, but those of my friends as well. Damages to the wall during renovations also left us with NO POWER for a month, but the office insisted they couldn't waive our power fee for that month because of a "management change". To repair this, maintenance broke open a huge wall in my room, refused to fix it, and then the office refused to acknowledge this and charged me for a wall repair, despite several mentions of the fact due to a "management change". The parking lots were also perpetually covered in dirt, and the hallways and building entrances never had working lights. Throw up will stay in your hallway until the 2nd coming because property maintenance is nonexistent. The office also blatantly ignores emails disputing charges. I had photos and videos of the apartment that I sent, justifying that the charges were b/s, but I was left on read for WEEKS (still no response). Just to top it off, the office tried to charge my roommate for a completely unnecessary - and outrageously expensive - carpet replacement amongst the numerous bizarre move-out charges. Front desk people are nice, but when you have a complaint they can never seem to do anything, or find the manager. Sus. This place should be your last resort. Even then, I would hesitantly recommend that you set foot here. Positive reviews are probably planted.

For the 2019-2020 lease year (August 2019-July 2020), it's $449 per person in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and $640 per person in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. These are the lowest rates for all the off-campus student apartments in the Columbia/UofSC area for this year.
