Decent middle-high end seafood restaurant that's located across the street from Bellevue Square Mall. It was very convenient to just call and meet up with the crew after an afternoon of shopping. A simple walk across Bellevue Way and you're there. Reservations at Cheesecake Factory was booked until 930pm, so we tried out Duke's instead. We had to wait a few minutes but was soon ushered to our table. The decor was nice and our group table had a nice window view of the mall and the busy Bellevue Way Street. Nice of them to prepare a special birthday plate for the birthday boy.

Overall the food was pretty good! The crab cake and scallops were excellent. The prawns were good but not amazing. Portion sizes aren’t the biggest for how pricey things were. Free bread was included and the service was really great!

Went here for my friend's birthday because they were open late (we waited nearly an hour for a table at her first choice and decided to leave since they were closing in a 1/2 hour by the time they could seat us). The food was as great as expected given all the awards they've won for their chowder and crab cakes. The decor was cute with walls of fishing rods, wooden boats slung from the ceiling and glass salmon adorning the fresh bar in the front. It was pretty quiet between 9:30 and 11 pm when we were there. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He informed us that Duke's is a sustainable seafood restaurant which I also liked. To start out I had a few small local oyster shooters that came with this tasty cucumber shaved ice. They were about $3 each so sort of pricey but not unaffordable. Next I tried the Manhattan style chowder with halibut and had a taste of the mobster lobster chowder both of which were really good. They even came with a recipe leaflet to take home for Duke's award winning clam chowder that I was happy to take home with me. For the main course I had a crab cake burger (very tasty) and the best sweet potato fries I think I've ever had. I'll definitely go back but probably will wait for another special occasion since it is definitely a $$$ sort of place.
