I called this morning trying to get shelter.. a spoke with a lady that told me no.. what shelter turns you down 👎 if this place gets grants?! Somebody needs to look at them

Charging rent to those staying in the shelter? That's why you receive non profit funding. I've NEVER seen a shelter across this country that charges people to stay.

Great selection of clothing, including scrubs for work

They helped me out of a real rough spot, the staff there went above and beyond for caring of the lowest, truly biblically inspired staff

Is this for homeless shelter for men
This is more than just a shelter. Staff truly cares about every client here. We are treated with respect, and are extended trust as trust is earned. There are many ways they help lift up those that have fallen on hard times.
Try going back Monday morning at 9am when the office staff is there.
Yes
This place isn't a hotel, it's a concentration camp cloaked with a throw blanket of Jesus. It's designed to warehouse homeless and get them of the street so the good God-fearing residents of Greenwood won't have to look at them. The lights come on at 6am and go off at 9pm, just like a jail. You'll be forced to attend a church service there 5 days a week and a re allowed to attend a church of your choice on Sundays, but, you have to bring a note back from them to prove that you actually attended. If you need work, they'll work you and you'll get paid an allowance that you'd pay a child. If you do find a job outside of the shelter, they'll insist that you pay $75 dollars a week to stay there cause moldy stale bread from Panera cost sooo much.... Hope you like bedbugs, cause they have them. If your down to your last resort and have no other choice, go there. However, if you value your individuality and personal freedom, in my humble opinion, you should live on the street.
