My parents were at this facility for several months.. Their apartment was gorgeous.. Washer and dryer was down the hall so if we needed anything washed before laundry pick up we could handle that.. Nursing staff was adequate.. Some of the nurses went above and beyond what was expected of them while others didn't do too much.. Took 120 minutes at times for call bells to be answered (Short staffed was what we heard if we questioned) Nursing director (Amanda) is way in over her head and doesn't have the respect of her staff. Jeff Price (Director who just resigned) was way in over his head also.. NO one seems to know what to do on a daily basis.. I feel bad for the residents that don't have family members to check on them.. Activities go on daily but very few of the residents come to them and staff doesn't make it a priority to bring the residents to the activities. (Again short staffed excuse).. Now hearing about issues with staff calling out due to non payment of wages.. Someone needs to step in and help or this place and it's residents won't survive long. Food in cafeteria was good and cafeteria staff were the only ones who seemed to know how to do their jobs flawlessly. The Christmas decorations are nice and pretty but they hide the ugly and bad dysfunction on the inside.. I will NEVER view the Elks Home as a beautiful place ever again.

From my understanding the employees have not been paid...They were due to be paid Friday August 26th it is now Wednesday August 31st and still not paid!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!! Now are threatening employees with termination! Who do they think they are? People DO NOT work for free! I say close it up!Residents are NOT being treated right either!!

been employed here almost 1 year. as of Friday the 26th of August 2022 today is Tuesday August 30th we still have yet to be paid. our upper management team is being lied too and led in circles on what to tell their departments and staff. they are telling their employees that we do not care about the residents because we aren't coming in for our shifts due to not being paid. WE LOVE OUR RESIDENTS BUT WE SO NOT LOVE THE DISRESPECT AND NOT GETTING PAID. WE HAVE FAMILIES TOO!!! because of this I have resigned from my position today as I've had to look for new employment since I was not paid!!

Don't pay their bills - got people always calling wanting their payments due from utilities to agencies who do services. Don't go here.
