We appreciate their labors in our community! They came out in response (in a reasonable time) to our call of worrying of a strong odor which we thought was a propane leak. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable; and fairly quickly found the problem. It turned out to be a methane gas build-up from sewer line. We got the house aired-out and everything returned to normal. We just don't know yet why this happened, as neighbors on both sides of us had no problem. And we have lived here 20 years and never before had a problem. And in our house we use both 1st floor and basement bathrooms equally-so it couldn't be from dry sewer lines in our house. As they left they said they would contact the Water Authority; and sure enough, a man came right afterwards-in the dark, to investigate. It was a Saturday night. He said they would be back on Monday or Tuesday to look further into this mystery. Hope to see someone today, as yesterday was too rainy.

I hear this fire department is prejudice against truckers... What a shame. PS: To the respondent below, ask the fireman who instead of helping, was actually insulting the trucker who needed help. I'm sure you know very well who he is and what he's done. I hope this answers you uncertainty of what I'd implied!!!!!
