Been going to Broadway for parts and service since I started mowing for myself 4 years ago. I sent everyone I know that needed parts or repairs their way until today. I called about a part for my mower and they proceeded to tell me the part was a little over over $500 I said ok can I get the part number so I can see if I can find it online a little cheaper. He acted like he was busy at that second so he said hold so I held for about 5 mins which is perfectly ok. He gave me the part number,I read it back to him to be sure I got it noted down right he said yup that’s it.so I started searching the part number online to try to find it cheaper as I needed. I couldnt find the part so I called another local store and asked them if they could find the part # I needed he gave me the number and I compared it to the number Broadway gave me and the feller on the phone gave me the part number but it was scrambled up compared to the “correct” part number the other store gave me. It was the same numbers but in different pattern. He did this because I was trying to find a cheaper part so I could afford it? Come on now I’ve been going there religiously for 4 years and your gonna do me that way because I was trying to save some money? That’s pretty low if you ask me, I’ve always been told never kick a man when he’s down. But to each their own I guess

My mower is 22yrs old and for the last yr or 2 been running rough so after about 10 utube videos I figured out that I had been running on one spark plug,out of 2.one coil was bad, so I called someplace thinking it WAS B O P, WELL THEY SAID THEY HAD ONE, I SAID I'D TAKE IT.AROUND 70 BUCKS, SO I HEADED OUT THER BUT WHEN I GOT THERE I FOUND OUT I HAD CALLED A DIFFERENT STORE, THES GUYS HAD 2 FOR 8O.I PUT THEM BOTH ON ,,IT RUNS LIKE NEW SO AM A HAPPY CAMPER.

Terrible service. Even tho you have a band new scag with .6 hours and there a scag dealer they won't do warranty work on my mower cause I didn't purchase it from them. Was told it would be a week to look at my spindle. But if i would have bought it from them id be back on my yards today. Terrible service and additudes. It's sad they treat people the way they do. I went to commercial cutting equipment just a few miles up the road and the whole mechanic team came to check out my mower and had me going in less than 10 minutes!!! And there not even a scag dealer

I have a Troy Bilt riding mower that is still under warranty. The steering locks up, and I think the transmission needs adjustment. It goes so fast, I use gear 1, and still have to keep my foot on the brake to keep it in control. Do you do warranty work like this.
