The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because I believe the staff at this hospital are not given the people and resources they are needed at this location. With a larger staff to help assist people in the lobby & ensure there are blankets and rooms being turned quickly, they would have a 5 star. The doctors at this location are phenomenal. I have been sent here twice after taking my son to the clay location & both times downtown was able to properly diagnose the problems and have my baby home within the day. Their doctors are truly experts with children & I wish they had more like them for their other location . Thank you thank you to the doctor who got my little boy home with us today

We took our 2 year old son into children's urgent care this afternoon. After a 3 hour wait, they said we had to wait for at least another 2 hours. We didn't have a life threatening situation so we went back home. I feel bad for those who don't have the option to just get up and walk out. Update: the next day, we went there again around noon time. After a 3 hour wait, my son was checked by a doctor. After the checkup and recommendations, it took an hour to get all the paperwork done. I also sent an email to the "social@baptist..." address in baptist's reply to this comment. After 2 days, somebody called and left us a voice message. That was pretty much it. We'd still go there because of the proximity to our residence, but I'm very disappointed in the long wait times.

Attention is horrible! 5 hours waiting in the room they never called us and many children crying.. several parents left upset because the service is horrible.

Excellent service. Construction π§ is causing some parking (September 1, 2022) and traffic issues so plan ahead. Ended up using Valet services for $5, suggest you do the same. If in need of hospital or doctor this could be your best bet.

Wolfson is children's hospital so they'll take care of him until he's better
Wolfson is a Children's Hospital that have programs to help pay for their service to families in need but like everything you have to apply and meet the requirements
The ER nurse is a good and awesome Everything Is Awesome the only part of the team
What kind of free programs? There are some community classes offered I believe.
Acetan blue select from Florida blue? Any plan of ambetter ?
There is a list of hotels on the Wolfson Children's website: https://www.wolfsonchildrens.com/patients/hospital-amenities
You probably would come out better to give them a call. They do a lot of things and they are simply amazing.
No. Unfortunately not for quite a while.
Yes
Hello. There are boxes near the main entrance. A few outside and a spot just inside the door. Ask security and they will be happy to help you.
That is true. I would call the hospital and speak with the operator
You will need to.speak with the coordinator in the unit in which your loved one is assigned. They will better be able to assist you with the necessary prerequisites to bring your loved one home. God bless and take care
They do not. Try Nemours Children's Clinic. They are more in line with outpatient needs.
Downtown Jacksonville
Yes, they accept new, unopened toys
Ask to speak with his former doctor at Nemours. I am sorry to hear that your baby is sick. Best of luck π
