The holidays brings hundreds of families and sightseers from all around the Tri-state area. Fortunately for me, the very next day, possibly due to a poor weather forecast, not only was I not stuck in that huge line (I tried and they cut the queue at some point and sent everyone past that point, including myself, away due to overcrowding and only 1 hr to closing), there was no line at all! As a side point, I wish the zoo admins would understand the seasonal Jewish Holidays and accomodate/prepare accordingly. It happens predictably & cyclically 3+ times EVERY year. Regardless, they're still one of our family's favorite trips and I don't see that changing anytime soon! 😄

But there are different rides/activities like, Mini Train, Bird feeding, Museum, Mery-go-round(horizontal) for which you have to buy tickets, Sr Citizen- 1.50 $ and others 2.0 $. children are free(pl. confirm age limit) for Sr. Citizen it is better to keep age proof, (generally not asked)

Right now there is a winter wonderland area with rides. The zoo is free today. The carousel and train are running. We stuck to the playground area and had fun running around with the kiddos.

Free for kids under 3. Most things (except ice skating) had long queues when we went on a Saturday. Other than that it was good. Ice skating (includes skates) alone is worth admission. If you're not skating, then the value is just so-so.
