I really don't understand how this place has such a high rating. *It smells like cigarette smoke in *every* hallway. It's overpowering. *Our bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it. *There was what could only be described as "random gunk" on the walls in our room *Hair was left in the shower *No soap dish, so your soap made a gunky mess on the counter *Our curtains were in bad shape. The blackout substance was missing in many places so the sun shone through in a moth eaten pattern. *the side panels of the drapes were torn down on the left side *no vending on the third floor *many repairs needed throughout the building (moldings, paint, etc.) *Overall, just a general feeling of dirtiness and "ew." The staff was courteous at the front desk and breakfast. Breakfast was "okay." I wouldn't stay here again.

Positive: It was in a good location next to several restraunts. Negative: The bed was very uncomfortable.For some reason this brand of hotels think small pillows are great. I used all four. And just couldn't get comfortable.

Positive: Very clean, even smelled nice and not just of disinfectants. The staff, including the breakfast crew, were friendly, professional, and polite. The location was great with lots of restaurants and stores, including grocery, around. Lots of parking. Negative: Nothing. Even the price was great! If I was ever going to be back in Waxahachie, I would definitely stay there!
