Obviously it sucks to have to go here but actually being here was not unpleasant. The nurses are really nice and take the time to get to know all of the patients. Nurse Dawn is the best I wish she could be cloned. The facility is older but they make due. It is an older hospital so rooms have 2 beds and are joined to the next room by a bathroom so both connecting rooms share the bathroom. Linens are clean, you are given a fresh towel whenever you ask. If you have any issue with soiled linens you can ask for a new piece or set. It’s not a problem which was a problem at many of the other local facilities. The counselors are helpful and you can request an appointment anyday you feel you need it. (Obviously they will schedule mandatory ones) but if you need additional help it is always available. They will help you figure out some things in your life that are messed up while you are in there so you can start to get your stuff in order for discharge. The techs are all previous users who are now sober. They are the ones who basically chaperone throughout the day. They each play a different role and are amazing people. The food is absolutely amazing. They also have cereal, cookies, hot chocolate, soda, etc. free at any time to snack on. There’s also a microwave and fridge if you want to save leftover lunch or dinner for later. The schedule has a nice balance of recreation vs. group/therapy/meeting time. Prepare to attend a lot of AA meetings. But the people they have come are regulars and they’re GOOD. During free time you can watch movies (if you think ahead or ask a family member you can bring your own DVDs), read, draw, paint, play board games (they have a lot), they also have fun movie nights where you’re allowed to stay up a little later and they make popcorn in the popcorn machine. I have gone to a few rehab facilities (the expensive ones too) and this one has been the most beneficial. The environment there is very safe. They will also find you a safe place to go as a step down from here so you aren’t homeless (is that’s your scenario). I would rate this one over any other local one.

Choices saved my life. Beccie is amazing. She was an inspiration to me. She was very much a part of me achieving 2 1/2 years clean. I would suggest choices to anyone who is going through it as long as she works there. I give Beccie so much credit, if it weren't for her, idk where I'd be. She gave me hope and she gave me the tools I needed to recover. 5 years later I still think of her and how she helped me change my life. Thank you choices and thank you Beccie!!

The staff were all awesome I everything was real relaxed but maybe a bit to relaxed I was threatened to be beat up by 2 clients in there not all verbally said but stuff as dumb as grinding there teeth at me and when I finally couldn't take it anymore I kicked a chair and it almost bumped into another client in there I was escorted out of the room by the same person that was threatening me and was begged by staff and the director to go to the hospital to get a med change after spening several hours at the hospital while we waited to hear back from the rehab the hospital finally called the nurse came out and told me that they weren't going to let me back cause they have a zero tolerance rule I had to call my only ride my grandfather who is almost 80 to drive bout an hour and a half at 11 pm to come pick me up I believe the whole thing could have been solved alot better sorry for and grammar errors in this review but I don't believe they even deserve my time to double check my own review for errors
