They cancelled my hair appointment because they wanted to change the schedule and they couldn't get hold of me. I didn't respond to their last minute calland went there straight, I was told that my appointment was cancelled already. They also don't like it when you are late even five minutes. They book appointments too close to each other obviously.

The first time I came here last year, the service was great and I loved my haircut. However, 2nd visit was not ideal. Everyone is very welcoming, but my stylist had 2 other clients she was working on while cutting my hair. I know most Asian salons multi-task and it generally does not bother me, but my stylist kept going back and forth in-between my hair wash/cut/blow-dry. I was there for around 2 hrs mostly waiting around and I was not satisfied with the cut.

TL;DR: If they serviced textured hair, I would have loved to experience the salon. I understand your hesitation about stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying something new, but stylists with decades of experience are a service to those with textured hair. We explained that we do not provide chemical services because we do not provide She said our hair was "too different" (the only difference is actually the shape of the hair cuticle). I believe almost all hair services carry inherent risks. If the client is willing to take that risk, the stylist should offer that service (especially if the compensation is fair). I think the salon does a great job and has talented stylists who could have served them well if they had tried. Sadly they weren't. The staff in this location are very friendly and professional. I've been to this hair salon for 10 years. They are using chemicals from Asian products which are safer for your hair and scalp compared to EU and US products. Due to the Covid situation they are limiting maximum occupancy and you will need to wear a mask. Of course you need to make an appointment.(No walk in allowed for busy days such as the weekends and holiday business days). Both English and Japanese languages are available.
