Outpatient Center at Northside Hospital Duluth

I needed outpatient xrays. Temperature was taken upon entering facility. Every step was quick and easy, from registering to completion of my tests. Staff (both professional and medical) were polite and helpful. No appointment is needed for xrays, just walk in. I don't know if the speed is normal but I would use them again.

I was there for labs and a ultrasound on my right leg. Check in was awesome. If you have been here before you know you have to do the check in each time. This is to verify all your information is correct and get your ID band. Each time I have been there the employees that do the check in are awesome. They know/understand it's repetitive but each time I have had great conversations. I have learned something from each person. The lab tech and ultrasound tech were so nice. Easy flow of conversation with both. Even though there are signs to guide you to the exit, the tech walked with me to make sure I didn't get lost. She didn't make me feel like I was taking her away from something important. Each time I have been to this facility every employee will walk with you and I've always felt very comfortable! The outpatient center requires masks, your temperature is checked when you walk into the foyer and the chairs in the waiting room are spaced for social distancing. Once you are where the different labs/departments are located there are double doors. You can push them open OR wave your hand in front of an automatic door opener (you used to have to push the button). It was great to see changes implemented to make the experience safer for everyone!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The scheduling department is amazing. Hands down best people ever (and I had to talk to all of them.. so I know!) and they really care. The actual facility is clean, organized and all the staff is very pleasant. This place is how medical facilities should be.
