It's no wonder so many veterans commit suicide with the type of mental health the veteran hospital provides.. I had to wait so long to get an appointment that I was seen at a walk in clinic and was prescribed and "as needed medication" that worked for me . Helped me sleep, quit smoking and gain some weight. Rather than prescribe me that, they wanted to put me on an anti-depressant and then double it and triple it down the the road. I would much rather take something that I know works and can take as needed as opposed to "trying" Daily medication that will only need to be increased over time. They don't care about their patients. I highly recommend avoiding the VA for real issues.

I seem to have a good experience at the Atlanta VA Arcadia Clinic. My Primary Care Physician (PCP) is very kind and always keeps me abreast of my questions and concerns. She always responds to my messages on MyHealtheVet in a timely manner. The facility is always neat and clean.

If you mean the VA ID card, yes. Visit the eligibility office at 1670 Clairmont Rd.
Yes
You need to call the tele-nurse to find out the answer to your question.
I have had an appointment as early as 7:30 am, but i would call them about walk-in because they may send you to the emergency room, if you cant contact your primary care physician.
Contact the patient advocate at that particular VA clinic/cboc/ main hospital VAMC.
A ten unit is the best for controlling pain.
Currently there is no shuttle service from Arcadia clinic to the Clairmont center. Due to covid-19 and six ft. Distance rule. Not sure how you can see it. If you are seeking your covid-19 shot they have setup special parking for those veterans.
Yes, I completed blood work last week at the beginning of October.
Yes but I think it's on a certain day but it's faster to get an appointment
No you have to call 4043216111 and ask for the clinic you want
Also there is an elevator if you need to enter the clinic itself... The mobile unit is visible and accessible right out front. The cross streets are Arcadia and Wynn way in Decatur.
call 404 321 6 1 1 1 and ask for benefits regarding Home Care assistance
Every 15 minutes, to and from the VA and the clinic.
Just call the VA and ask them to schedule you for an eye exam.
You can get some forms here depending on which form you need. You might need to try either the VA Hospital, check at the front desk going through the front door, or try the Veterans Administration building across from the hospital.
ER is at the main hospital on Clairmont rd, this is the Decatur Clinic that moved on Arcadia.
