I can’t help but recommend Bond Vet to anyone who owns a pet!!! Clean, welcoming staff, and the atmosphere is amazing!!! I wish human waiting areas and doctor visits were that fulfilling. They are definitely the best I’ve seen so far, and they set the bar very high for the competition. And my dog 🐕 loves the staff very much…

The vets here are money hungry and want you to allow unnecessary surgeries on your dog. When you want an alternative solution, they will guilt trip and manipulate your emotional attachment with your baby. If you are only going for an average check-up, then sure, otherwise seek other medical advice.

Does Bond Vet support TNR program and provide discount price for spay/neuter for stray or stray friendly cats or kittens for the rescuers?

Nina Chin | Oct 2, 2021
Del'Esa Lee | Oct 2, 2021

The website indicates a discount for spay/neuter services for strays but I don't think they officially support TNR because they're super expensive ($800 for my kitten to be neutered)

Do they have to upsell you every time you come in?

No. I did not feel they were up selling us. I felt they were pretty transparent about costs.

My Fur Baby( Female) Is 16 Months Old....Is She Too Old To Get Neutered?

Sweetdelights Miller | Dec 6, 2021
Bond Vet - Cobble Hill | Dec 6, 2021

Hi, She is not too old to be spayed. We recommend 6 months+. If she was 9-12 years old at that point we may have to consult with a specialist, but your baby is not to old. Best,

I tried an inquiring about spaying procedure for my puppy but the website continued to portray error. Does anyone know A. Average cost on procedure and B. It this a reputable place to have spaying done in addition to vet care?

They are reputable. Just call and they can estimate over the phone.

My 2nd question is (I was cut off before) My cat has his meds, Prednesone, delivered by a compound pharmacy, wespawpets, in Astoria. When his prescription expires, can I get a new one at Bondvet and continue to have it delivered there?

Linda Lerner | Oct 2, 2020
Bond Vet - Cobble Hill | Oct 2, 2020

Hi Linda, That is completely understandable! The regular doctors in our Cobble Hill location are Dr. Mackey, Dr. Fadl, and Dr. Bloomfield. They all will have access to the medical records that are in our files for Samsara. It looks like we have all of the records from Samsara's prior vets so getting the approval through us should not be a problem. Let me know if you have any other questions!
