The other reviews don't give enough credit. If you like new York style Chinese food, this is for you. Call and pickup. Ready in 10 minutes most of the time. Good selection, have all the favorites. A favorite of my family for over 10 years.

We ordered House Fried Rive, Sweet & Sour Chicken, 4 Egg rolls and Crab Rangoon to the tune of $42.00. The egg rolls were undercooked, crab Rangoon was under cooked, there only thing that you could not mess up was the sweet and sour chicken. We had to put the egg rolls and crab Rangoon in the air fryer to make it crispy and not doughy . I do not recommend China Star St. James to even try.

They need to have more customer service skills. It never hurts to smile with the customer and say thank you. They also need to learn how to steam vegetables. What good are vegetables if you can eat them.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS
They put everything in a plexiglass box then close the window and you open the window from the other side to grab your order. So you are always separateded from the employees and the kitchen by plexiglass.
