The Westport Library

Beautiful library...however, as a 1st yr nursing student I was irritated the hour in a half I was there. There is loud noise all around, seating space is limited, the second floor was fine until the rooms behind were being utilized to make more noise. A group of teens went in to use one of the rooms and they were dancing and playing loud music. The other room had people just laughing incredibly loud. Library staff frequently passed by and No one said anything. I appreciate a library were it is used in fact as a quiet place were people can go to work and study and not a hangout spot.

An amazing local resource!

Really nice library. It is very quiet, and there is a lot of books to choose from. I found it a little hard to find the book I was looking for, but after a little investigating I understood on how they organize the books and I found what I was looking for. Checking out a book and a computer is very easy. I spent my hours there working on school work. Only problem I had is that there was some distractions such as a few roaming children and some noises caused by people. Very rare to see though. Will come again and I might try out one of the study rooms.
