After a horrible experience at Forest Lake Menards, I went across the street and received above and beyond service from Matt in the paint dept. I also received courteous service from Charlie and Jean when I checked out. Forest Lake Home Depot has the most helpful staff.

What is the trunk diameter at the base? It's one spike per every inch. Also, you should be fine, as long as you didn't place them too close to the trunk. The smaller the tree the easier it is to burn it with too much fertilizer. Hope that helps.
